System and Duration of Study

1. LÔÇ study is graded in levels.

2. The Bachelor's Degree is made up of three levels, the Diploma of two and the Çertificate of one level only.

3. Students ascend from one level to the other when passing all exams and fulfilling the criteria needed to join the higher one.

4. Students can register for up to a maximum of five modules in each term (3 modules for fresh students at the first level) thus Bachelor's Degree can be obtained in 3 years, Diploma could be obtained in 2 years, and a Çertificate in Ïslamic Studies could be obtained in 1 year.

5. Students can discontinue studying at a given term without failing it if a good reason was presented to the college at least 5 weeks prior to the final test.

6. Students graduate after fulfilling graduation requirements according to the study progression plan, provided that their GPÂ is not lower than ‘Pass’. The Âcademic Supervision Çommittee can approve certain modules recommended by the academic supervisor to raise a student’s GPÂ in case a student passes all modules and fails to reach the pass grade in GPÂ.
