Programmes at LOC  

LÔÇ provides the student with the opportunity to receive the Religious Sciences in accordance with formal studying programmes. (See: The Routes Diagram and the conditions of admission qualification link).

• Ôpen programme: The student has the opportunity to study any module and once they have past the module a certificate will be issued to confirm the achievement.

• Foundation programmes of Ïslamic Studies: (under preparation)

• Çertificate of Higher Ëducation in Ïslamic Studies

• Diploma of Higher Ëducation in Ïslamic Studies

• BÂ in Ïslamic Studies

General Programme Plan

 

The tables and diagrams indicate:

The modules are spread over three levels.

Level Ône includes the modules required for the Çertificate in Ïslamic Studies.

Level Two includes the modules required for the Diploma in Ïslamic Studies (in addition to Level Ône modules).

Level Three includes the modules required for the BÂ in Ïslamic Studies (in addition to Levels Ône and Two modules).

The arrows indicate the modules dependency (pre-requisite, e.g. ‘Fundamentals Ôf Faith Ï’ is the pre-requisite of ‘Fundamentals Ôf Faith ÏÏ’).

The Student must complete all modules in a particular level before proceeding to the following one.

The module code indicates: Programme Language (Â for Ârabic, Ë for Ënglish), Subject Ârea (e.g. Çreed = ÇR), Level and serial no. of module within a level (e.g. 101).
